IS Systems Development Consultant

Job Summary

Providing advanced technical expertise and project management, the full-time IS Systems Development Services Consultant/Administrator will support all phases of the systems development life cycle for multi-platform applications, including mainframe and web technologies, with potential for hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage project planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex web projects interacting with mainframe programs
• Conduct research and analysis to evaluate and recommend new web technologies for systems development projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and ensure compliance with federal project development standards

Required qualifications:

• Project management experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technology solutions
• Proficiency in developing and designing distributed web applications using the .NET framework with relational databases
• Experience working with large, complex systems in relevant industries such as insurance, government, or healthcare
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing project lifecycles
