IS Technical Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for an IS Technical Specialist to provide project life cycle support for mainframe infrastructure and web services communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full project life cycle support for mainframe and web services infrastructure
- Develop and integrate service-oriented architecture system projects in a mainframe-based environment
- Mentor junior developers and perform software debugging and impact analysis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Five years of application development experience, including mainframe programming with COBOL, DB2, and CICS
- At least one year of experience in an Agile environment with technologies such as MVS, TSO/ISPF, and XML
- Experience integrating applications using IBM DataPower and IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus
- Proficiency in SQL and JCL for data management and batch program execution
