IS Technical Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time IS Technical Specialist will develop, design, and architect the Enterprise Query Hub application using cloud and JAVA API technologies while providing technical assistance and support for application systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Enterprise Query Hub application, integrating it with the SOR database based on user requirements
- Log defects, monitor performance and alerts, and perform application upgrades and framework enhancements
- Analyze user specifications to design and develop application systems, providing technical assistance for hardware and software issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in the software development life cycle, specifically with JAVA technologies and REST APIs
- Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed message platforms (Kafka/PubSub)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes
