iSeries/AS400 Developer

Job Summary

To support the management of iSeries AS400 and WINS systems, the remote iSeries/AS400 Developer will oversee system operations, implement upgrades, and resolve technical issues while working in a COBOL and CL environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement OS/400 upgrades and maintenance to minimize downtime
• Manage and troubleshoot Catapult processes and ensure effective use of ROCKET DEVOPS tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address user needs and system enhancements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in Development and Operations on an iSeries/AS400
• Strong knowledge of COBOL/400, SQL/400, and related programming languages
• Expertise in backup and disaster recovery strategies for the iSeries
• Property and casualty insurance experience is a strong plus
