IT and Security Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote IT and Security Director, the successful candidate will manage the enterprise information security program, drive policy creation and governance, and lead AI security initiatives while partnering with C-suite executives and technical teams to enhance organizational security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive organizational maturity and adoption of the enterprise information security program, including incident response and vulnerability management
• Develop and maintain IT and security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and evolving threats
• Build and execute a multi-year information security strategy aligned with organizational goals and risk appetite

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in information security and IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Demonstrated success in building or maturing an enterprise security program
• Deep expertise in InfoSec domains, including network, endpoint, and cloud security
• Strong command of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF
