IT and Security Executive

Job Summary

Leading the IT and security strategy, the full-time remote VP of IT and Security will manage internal IT operations, oversee security policies and compliance, and drive incident response and business continuity efforts while building an in-house team from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including identity and access management, device provisioning, and vendor relationships
• Define and maintain security policies, oversee internal security tooling, and lead the Application Security team
• Maintain the Risk Register, manage the SOC 2 program, and develop incident response and business continuity plans

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in IT and security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Experience transitioning from an MSP model to an internal IT function
• Hands-on operational experience with compliance frameworks, particularly SOC 2
• Familiarity with identity and access management tools, endpoint management solutions, and major cloud platforms
• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is strongly preferred
