IT Application Consultant

Job Summary

Providing IT project management and operational support for applications, the remote contract IT Application & Cloud Services Consultant will optimize data storage, analyze databases, and assist with Azure modernization efforts while collaborating with various divisions to address technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project support by creating artifacts, communicating status, and overseeing project dependencies
• Provide IT application support, including troubleshooting issues and managing remote access to systems
• Conduct data storage optimization assessments and lead modernization strategies for Azure-based solutions

Required qualifications

• Five years of experience in IT project management roles
• Two years of experience in data storage optimization and database analysis
• Two years of experience supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure SQL, storage accounts, and Data Lake services
• Proven ability to lead requirements gathering across diverse stakeholder groups
