IT Application Developer
Job Summary
Owning the delivery of application features and enhancements, the full-time remote IT Application Developer II will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver application features, enhancements, and defect fixes within the Duck Creek platform
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform root cause analysis to resolve system issues and performance challenges
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure successful application delivery and support continuous improvement of development practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4+ years of application development experience in software engineering roles
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy and/or Billing platforms
- Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to end-to-end feature delivery
- Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications
