IT Application Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Application Development Manager to lead application development activities with a focus on EDI and partner integration engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and support of existing systems and implementation of new systems, tracking schedules and risks within Agile/Scrum
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and modernization of EDI systems, including partner onboarding and integration
• Ensure compliance with security policies and lead vendor risk assessments for integration platforms

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
• At least eight years of experience in applications design, development, and management
• Healthcare industry experience, specifically with medical provider applications/data, is highly desirable
• Strong technical expertise in EDI standards and transactions, and relevant programming languages
• Experience managing application development teams in web-based development and distributed systems
