IT Applications Analyst

Job Summary

Assisting in the development and support of data ingestion workflows, the full-time IT Applications Analyst will manage data pipelines using StreamSets, write Python scripts for data processing, and monitor production systems, all while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of data ingestion pipelines using StreamSets or similar tools
• Write and support Python scripts for basic data processing, integration, and validation tasks
• Monitor data pipelines and production systems, identifying issues and escalating as needed for resolution

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with StreamSets or similar technologies and data ingestion workflows
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic hands-on experience with data ingestion tools and knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
• Understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV, along with basic ETL concepts
• Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data integration concepts
