IT Asset Management Expert

Job Summary

Serving as the lead knowledge resource, the full-time remote IT Asset Management Subject Matter Expert will manage hardware and software asset management efforts, provide strategic advisory support, and enhance governance and compliance processes for a federal ITAM program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ITAM subject matter expertise across hardware and software asset management workstreams
• Advise stakeholders on ITAM strategy, governance, lifecycle management, and process improvement
• Support the development of future-state operating models, transition roadmaps, and governance frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management
• Experience as a subject matter expert or lead analyst in ITAM or related fields
• Proven experience in developing or improving ITAM processes and governance materials
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and compliance considerations
