IT Asset Management Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote IT Asset Management Expert, the candidate will lead the technical development of asset management strategies, define enterprise asset data models, and provide technical leadership for software asset management platforms to enhance inventory accuracy and compliance within a federal program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of hardware and software asset management strategic roadmaps using a lifecycle intelligence framework
• Define the enterprise asset data model and ensure key attributes are captured during asset registration
• Provide technical leadership for software asset management platform activation and establish centralized license inventory workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field
• 5+ years of specialized experience in IT asset management, including hardware and software asset management
• Demonstrated expertise in software license management and hardware lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience with enterprise ITAM platforms, particularly ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB
• Working knowledge of ITAM governance frameworks, including ISO/IEC 19770 and ITIL
