IT Asset Manager

Job Summary

To support the organization's IT Asset Management and Technology Procurement programs, the full-time IT Asset Manager will establish and improve processes for managing the lifecycle of technology assets while overseeing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement activities, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Defining and executing the IT Asset Management strategy aligned with business and IT goals
• Managing the complete lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud assets, including procurement, deployment, and disposal
• Leading vendor evaluation, sourcing, and negotiation processes to optimize technology spending and ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or similar roles
• 5-7 years of experience utilizing ServiceNow for managing technology assets and procurement processes
• Professional certifications such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
• Comprehensive knowledge of ITAM principles and software licensing models
