IT Auditor

Job Summary

Identifying preliminary audit scoping, the full-time remote IT Auditor will perform technical research, conduct stakeholder interviews, and prepare audit questionnaires while evaluating internal controls and drafting audit recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform walkthroughs to identify and document risks and controls
• Execute audit procedures and prepare documentation of the processes performed
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and draft recommendations for audit reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, accounting, finance, or a related field
• One year of experience in IT audit, IT Compliance, IT Governance, or IT Risk Management, or three years in technical networking, infrastructure, or cybersecurity
• Familiarity with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or PCI-DSS
• Proficiency in Microsoft products, especially Excel and SharePoint
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT systems and infrastructures
