IT Automation and Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To advance quality initiatives across a diverse product portfolio, the remote IT Automation and Quality Engineer II will design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend systems while supporting CI/CD and release activities in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Align Quality Engineering initiatives with business and technology objectives by developing test strategies and quality metrics
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated tests for UI, API, functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery speed and quality

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; experience with CMS-driven websites is a plus
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including manual and automated testing in Agile environments
• Proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar programming/scripting languages with experience in automated test frameworks
• Hands-on experience with UI, API, functional, regression, smoke, and integration test automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to validate data integrity and troubleshoot application issues
