IT Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support business process optimization, the remote contract IT Business Analyst will translate business requirements into technical specifications, conduct thorough business process analysis, and collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and feasible solutions
• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis and document existing workflows and systems
• Develop use cases, functional models, and process flows as communication tools between business and technical teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience required
• Experience with business process analysis, documentation, and requirements management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and specialized tools such as iRise and Rational toolset
• Ability to develop use cases, functional models, process flows, and wire-frame diagrams
