IT Business Consultant

Job Summary

Acting as an informed advocate for a company lacking full-time IT staff, the remote IT Business Consultant will manage information system projects, support cyber audit remediation aligned with ISO 27001, and advise on technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and advise on contracts with IT service providers, including MSP, SQL, and cyber contractors
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements for IT systems and projects
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience on IT or system architecture-related projects
• Strong understanding of business processes and their alignment with IT systems
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience with SQL databases and project management tools
