IT Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the IT Business Systems Analyst will deliver strategic insights and manage enhancements for Factoring Business applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams while focusing on the modernization of legacy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple Factoring applications, implementing new enhancements and configuring system requirements
• Write clear user stories in Jira by collaborating with product and business partners to understand new requirements
• Conduct system testing with software engineers, document defects, and ensure high-quality software deployment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operations Support, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience as a business systems analyst for financial systems
• Familiarity with SQL and data analysis/reporting capabilities
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
• Demonstrated experience with software integrations and understanding API documentation
