IT Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the IT Business Systems Analyst will serve as a liaison for assigned business areas, providing consultative guidance, conducting feasibility studies, and managing the development and testing of technology solutions to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provides functional and technical support during the development, implementation, and testing of complex projects
• Facilitates business requirements gathering and develops detailed functional requirements, user acceptance criteria, and test plans
• Monitors system implementation to ensure user satisfaction and prepares technical documentation, including flow charts and training materials

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application development, testing, or business/systems analysis
• High school diploma or GED
• Thorough knowledge of information technology fields and computer systems
• Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with business requirements and business process analysis to ensure IT solutions align with business needs
