IT Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the IT Business Systems Analyst will serve as a liaison for assigned business areas, providing consultative guidance, conducting feasibility studies, and supporting the design and implementation of technology solutions to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provides functional and technical support during the development, implementation, and testing of complex projects
• Produces detailed functional requirements and user stories, and develops user acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases
• Facilitates business requirements gathering and clarifies user stories with stakeholders while supporting business architecture design

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application development, testing, or business/systems analysis
• High school diploma or GED
• Thorough knowledge of Information Technology fields and computer systems
• Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with business requirements and business process analysis to ensure IT solutions meet business needs
