IT Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Category Manager to lead sourcing and procurement for IT categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft complex contracts, amendments, and SOWs
• Partner with stakeholders and legal teams to ensure compliance and risk management
• Develop sourcing strategies and maintain vendor performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT sourcing and vendor management required
• Certifications or designations relevant to the field highly preferred (CPM, CSMP, CSM, PMP, Six Sigma)
• Strong project management skills
• Skilled negotiator with strong analytical abilities
