IT Category Manager
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the IT Category Manager will manage supplier portfolios, develop procurement strategies, and negotiate agreements to support the IT and business units of the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT and Supply Management leadership to align procurement demands and priorities
- Oversee supplier agreements, renewals, and third-party risk management activities
- Lead the development and implementation of category strategies to control costs and ensure supply continuity
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Management, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Management, Procurement, or IT Business Office roles focused on IT supplier management
- Strong knowledge of the IT marketplace and experience with application development and managed services agreements
- Adept negotiation skills in performance-based agreements
- Proficiency with Supply Management tools for procure-to-pay and contract lifecycle management
