IT Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT & Cloud Security Engineer to join their cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SOC 2 Type II compliance and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH)
• Design and maintain secure cloud architectures while implementing security controls across the development lifecycle
• Monitor security events, respond to threats, and lead incident response activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-7 years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, and Azure Security certifications
