IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

To oversee the company's cybersecurity control program and manage the performance of the managed service provider (MSP), the full-time remote IT Compliance Manager will maintain compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, administer the Vanta GRC platform, and ensure adherence to security and data-handling requirements in a regulated transportation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions: Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover
• Administer the Vanta GRC platform, including control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation tracking
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for the MSP, managing escalations and ensuring service delivery expectations are met

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, IT audit, or IT governance, with direct responsibility for a control program
• Hands-on experience implementing or operating a recognized security framework such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001
• Experience administering a GRC or compliance automation platform like Vanta or equivalent
• Working knowledge of core IT controls including identity and access management and vulnerability management
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
