IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote IT Compliance Manager, the candidate will manage the company's cybersecurity control program and oversee the performance of the managed service provider (MSP) while ensuring compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and regulatory requirements in a transportation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions
• Oversee the MSP's performance, including service level monitoring, escalations, and contract lifecycle management
• Prepare and coordinate evidence for security reviews, audits, and assessments while managing the policy lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, or IT governance, with direct responsibility for a control program
• Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and compliance automation platforms
• Experience managing outsourced IT providers, including service level monitoring and escalation
• Ability to critically analyze SOC 2 Type II reports and other security assurance artifacts
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
