IT Compliance Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote IT Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will build and manage the company's cybersecurity control program and oversee the performance of the managed service provider (MSP) responsible for daily IT operations, ensuring compliance with NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the company's control set mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 across all six functions
• Oversee the MSP relationship, including service level monitoring, escalations, and contract lifecycle management
• Prepare evidence for security reviews, audits, and assessments, while managing the policy lifecycle and enterprise risk register

Required qualifications

• Five or more years in IT compliance, information security, or IT audit, with direct responsibility for a control program
• Hands-on experience with recognized security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001
• Experience using GRC or compliance automation platforms like Vanta or ServiceNow GRC
• Knowledge of core IT controls including identity and access management and vulnerability management
• Professional certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP is a plus
