IT Controls Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on IT Controls Analyst in a remote contract position, this role will execute and optimize IT control processes, implement improvements, and support automation initiatives under the guidance of the IT Controls Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support IT control activities in alignment with defined processes and standards
• Partner with the IT Controls Lead to implement process improvements and optimizations
• Support automation initiatives, including scripting, log parsing, and API-based integrations

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT controls execution
• Strong technical skills in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and working with logs, APIs, and data extraction
• Experience with server (Windows/Linux) and/or database environments (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Understanding of IT processes and system workflows, along with basic IT audit/controls concepts
• Ability to independently execute tasks and translate requirements into technical solutions
