IT & Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time remote IT & Cyber Security Engineer will develop and maintain security policies, monitor systems for vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop security controls by creating, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to safeguard systems and data
• Monitor and assess risk through vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security analyses
• Respond to incidents by investigating security breaches, documenting findings, and supporting remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT security
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Experience with penetration testing and security assessments
• Experience implementing and maintaining security policies and controls
