IT Department Lead

Job Summary

To lead the Internal IT Department, the full-time IT Department Lead will manage Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Security, IAM, and FinOps in a remote environment, driving strategy and fostering collaboration across teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Internal IT Department, overseeing key areas such as Platform Engineering and Infrastructure Security
• Drive infrastructure initiatives and co-define strategy and roadmap with the CIO
• Manage staffing, career development, and performance reviews within the department

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience leading IT/infrastructure/platform engineering teams for 5+ years
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and DevOps/SRE practices
• Hands-on understanding of infrastructure security, IAM, and FinOps disciplines
• Experience translating compliance and audit requirements into operational controls
• Excellent people management skills, including hiring and mentoring
