Job Summary

Driving a high-impact application modernization project, the mid-level IT Developer will lead the migration of legacy LUW database applications to SQL Server, modernize architecture and APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams in a fully remote, 6-month contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead modernization and migration of legacy applications from LUW databases to SQL Server
• Design and define robust database schemas and table structures in partnership with DBA teams
• Develop and enhance Java-based applications using Spring Boot and modernize front-end user interfaces

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of Java development experience
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot
• 4+ years of SQL Server experience, including schema and data structure design
• Front-end development proficiency, preferably with Angular
• Ability to work independently and engage diverse technical teams
