IT Director

Job Summary

Leading the strategic planning and management of information technology systems, the full-time remote IT Director will oversee IT operations, drive enterprise efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance for a commercial-stage biotech company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives and administrative priorities
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable service delivery and continuous improvement of the end-user support experience
• Lead IT systems readiness for product launches, supporting sales and marketing teams with scalable technology solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience managing internal teams and outsourced IT service providers
• Strong knowledge of GxP systems, validation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with platforms such as Veeva, NetSuite ERP, and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
