IT Director

Job Summary

To support a growing IT infrastructure, the full-time remote IT Director will manage a small team while also engaging hands-on with identity and access management, endpoint management, and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring operational excellence and compliance within a SOC 2 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer identity provider integrations, enforce MFA, and manage access controls and user provisioning
• Oversee endpoint management, including device procurement, configuration, and security measures
• Lead IT team development, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with IT controls and audit readiness

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in IT with at least 2 years in a leadership role while remaining hands-on
• Extensive experience with modern identity providers, MDM, and SaaS applications
• Proven track record managing IT controls in a SOC 2 environment
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security, identity access management, and lifecycle management
• Ability to automate processes through scripting for provisioning and evidence collection
