IT Engineer 3
Job Summary
To support advanced IT infrastructure management, the full-time remote IT Engineer 3 will resolve complex technical issues, manage system configurations, and automate processes using scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations
- Create automation scripts utilizing Python, PowerShell, and AI tools to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with Tier I and Tier II engineers to ensure timely resolution of escalated tickets and provide mentorship
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role
- Strong knowledge of SSO technologies and methodologies, particularly OKTA
- Proficient in system administration of Windows desktop, Mac OS, and server operating systems; Linux experience is a plus
- Excellent scripting skills utilizing Python, PowerShell, and others
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Proxmox)
