IT Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the engineer experience while ensuring a robust IT security posture, the remote IT Engineer will manage endpoint operations, identity and access lifecycle, and SaaS administration, leading IT projects and providing advanced support for complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Administer core IT systems, ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements
• Lead IT projects from requirements gathering through implementation, including SaaS tool rollouts and automation initiatives
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 helpdesk support, acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT engineering roles
• Experience with MDM platforms (preferably Jamf) and managing endpoints in an enterprise environment
• Proficiency in Google Admin Console or similar identity management platforms
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects with minimal oversight
• Experience with SaaS administration and access provisioning workflows
