IT Engineer - Maryland Licensed

Job Summary

To support a federal agency client, the contract-to-hire IT Engineer - Maryland Licensed will provide engineering-level endpoint and infrastructure support for Windows and macOS environments, focusing on design, implementation, and maintenance of technical controls while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, standardized workstation images for macOS and Windows platforms
• Engineer and manage endpoint configuration baselines and patch management processes
• Produce operational runbooks and documentation while ensuring compliance with security governance processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Endpoint Engineering, or Cybersecurity
• Experience building and maintaining Windows and macOS workstation images
• Hands-on experience with Ivanti and/or KACE for OS and application patch management
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required
