IT Engineer - Top Secret Clearance

Job Summary

To support a federal agency client, the contract-to-hire IT Engineer - Top Secret Clearance will design, implement, and maintain technical controls across Windows and macOS environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure workstation images for macOS and Windows platforms, including VDI and remote access configurations
• Engineer and manage endpoint configuration baselines using tools like Ivanti, KACE, and Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance and remediation of configuration drift
• Implement and manage OS and application patch management processes, including device enrollment and lifecycle management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred, with experience potentially waiving educational requirements
• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Endpoint Engineering, or Cybersecurity, with 6+ years in engineering roles within enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Ivanti and/or KACE for patch management and Microsoft Intune for device provisioning
• Experience with JAMF Pro for macOS endpoint management and implementing passwordless authentication
• Active Top Secret clearance required
