IT Field Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Field Operations Manager to oversee its IT services team remotely in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the service delivery of globally deployed edge IT infrastructure systems and the Technical Operations support function
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with IT support vendors, overseeing contract management and performance reviews
• Own the budget for the IT Field Operations function, including forecasting and cost tracking

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT operations or technical support, with at least 3 years in a management role
• BA/BS/MS degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and financial oversight
• Strong experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and platforms
• Familiarity with networking concepts and corporate IT management systems
