IT Field Support Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance user uptime and computing experiences, the full-time Field Support Specialist will provide on-site desktop support, manage network equipment installations, and collaborate with leadership on technology upgrades in Adelphi, MD.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide on-site desktop support for hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting
- Lead installations of video and audio-conferencing hardware and manage technical support for events
- Collaborate with technical staff to test new software and network technologies while ensuring proper documentation
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Information Systems, with a focus on infrastructure or operations
- 1+ years of field support experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong understanding of Mac OS X and Windows troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Network Essentials, Microsoft 365, and VoIP systems
