IT Incident Response Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time IT Incident Response Engineer, the candidate will identify, analyze, and respond to advanced cyber threats and incidents across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, contributing to Eaton's Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) while working remotely or from any US site.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 cyber security incident response, managing and coordinating responses to cyber incidents across the global enterprise
• Develop and tune cloud-native detections, enhancing security posture by applying knowledge of cloud identity and access management
• Design and implement automation workflows to accelerate incident triage, investigation, and reporting across cloud and on-premises environments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum seven years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related fields
• Hands-on experience with cloud security across major platforms
• Experience in detection engineering and SIEM content development
• U.S. person status as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
