IT Infrastructure End User Specialist

Job Summary

Leading the planning, implementation, and support of IT end user infrastructure solutions, the remote contract IT Infrastructure End User Specialist will manage workspace systems, oversee vendor collaboration, and ensure high availability of systems while participating in proof-of-concept evaluations.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for IT end user systems, including cloud platform interfaces and cybersecurity frameworks
• Deploy, configure, and maintain IT end user infrastructure components such as laptops, mobile devices, and printers
• Manage ITIL processes and oversee escalations of unresolved incidents or service requests

Required qualifications:

• BS/BA in Information Technology or equivalent experience (AA/AS degree with 2 years of experience or 4 years of IT experience)
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise end user IT systems, including software systems and security concepts
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred
• 2+ years of junior leadership experience in mentoring teams or managing IT projects
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills in IT environments
