Job Summary
Working remotely from any US location, the full-time Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a Linux and virtual infrastructure system administrator, responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions while collaborating across various teams to address critical business and technology issues.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and administration of Linux/Unix operating systems and associated infrastructure
- Facilitate implementation tasks, including operational standards and automation, while developing and supporting best practices and procedures
- Lead the migration of legacy technologies to current standards and provide technical support to internal stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Linux (e.g., Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu) administration
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Unix (e.g., Solaris, HP-UX) administration
- Experience with automation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, shell scripting)
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across the full IT technology stack
