Job Summary

IT Mainframe Engineer, a contract position that is remote, responsible for troubleshooting programming bugs, supporting batch processing systems, and ensuring system reliability in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve programming bugs within a mainframe environment
• Support and maintain batch processing systems
• Perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in mainframe programming and production support
• Hands-on expertise with COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL
• Experience with FIS/Systematics Core Banking applications
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
