IT Manager

Job Summary

Leading a distributed IT team in a remote environment, the full-time IT Manager will oversee IT operations, ensure compliance with security standards, and provide hands-on technical support while managing hardware and software provisioning, user access, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including hardware lifecycle management, user support, and identity and access management
• Develop and enforce IT security policies aligned with HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements, ensuring the protection of Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Monitor IT operational metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
• Direct experience in healthcare or regulated environments with knowledge of HIPAA and security compliance
• Proven experience managing distributed IT teams across multiple time zones
• Strong technical expertise in hardware support, software provisioning, and identity and access management
• Experience administering MDM solutions and cloud-based collaboration tools
