IT Manager, AI Platform Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a team of platform engineers and technical specialists, the full-time remote IT Manager, AI Platform Engineering will drive the development and optimization of scalable AI and machine learning platforms, ensuring efficient software delivery and operational excellence across hybrid-cloud environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute the platform engineering and data science roadmap aligned with the company's AI strategy
• Design and optimize secure, reliable platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hybrid-cloud environments
• Lead initiatives to enhance DevSecOps practices, CI/CD processes, and MLOps capabilities for improved operational efficiency

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, with a focus on machine learning and data analytics
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing performance and career development
• Direct experience in software programming with Java and/or Python, alongside expertise in software architecture
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and knowledge of Azure for hybrid-cloud integration
