IT Manager, Data Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Manager, Data Platform Engineering to lead the development and management of its data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and management of data platforms to ensure accessibility, security, and governance
• Develop strategies for data utilization, storage, and accessibility in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience managing data platforms in a cloud-based environment with a focus on GCP
• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Information Management, including at least 2 years in people management
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration, along with expertise in data warehouse technologies
• Experience with AI/ML algorithms and familiarity with relevant programming languages for data manipulation
