IT Manager - OpenShift

Job Summary

Leading the Container Platforms Engineering and Operations team, the remote IT Manager - OpenShift will manage a team of over 10 professionals, driving technical strategy and overseeing the architecture and operations of OpenShift deployments to ensure reliability and scalability for critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the technical vision and roadmap for container platforms, focusing on OpenShift deployments
• Oversee the design, build, and operations of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and performance
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and contractors, fostering collaboration and alignment with organizational goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in applications development, applications analysis, or systems engineering, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience in technical implementation
• Knowledge of Standard Development Life Cycles (such as Waterfall or Agile)
• Understanding of system and data design
