IT Network Engineer III

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote IT Network Engineer III, this position will manage enterprise network engineering, administration, and support functions, focusing on the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of firewall and network infrastructure in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall-centric network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Monitor network performance and availability, serving as a senior escalation point for complex incidents
• Implement network security controls and collaborate with security teams to support audits and compliance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with a focus on firewall and network platforms
• Proven experience in designing and operating firewall-centric network solutions in production environments
• Advanced expertise with next-generation enterprise firewall platforms and network fundamentals
• Experience integrating on-premises firewall infrastructure with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
