IT Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Creating and updating scheduling in IBM Workload Scheduler, the full-time IT Operations Analyst will ensure compliance with quality standards and policies while providing second-level support for production issues in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build permanent scheduling definitions for Mainframe and Distributed Systems using IBM Workload Scheduler
• Provide ad hoc scheduling support for Mainframe operations
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as part of the on-call rotation

Required qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience in an IT role such as Operations, Production Support, or Systems Administration
• 1.5+ years of experience with IBM Workload Scheduler for both z/OS and Distributed systems
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, and Windows Server operating systems
• Familiarity with protocols such as Telnet, SFTP, and TCP/IP
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
