IT Operations Manager

Job Summary

To lead IT operations effectively, the full-time remote IT Operations Manager will manage a small team while also handling technical responsibilities across endpoints, identity, and SaaS management.

Key responsibilities

• Operate as a player-coach, managing a queue of endpoint, identity, and SaaS work alongside the team
• Oversee endpoint management, including MDM enrollment, patch compliance, and hardware lifecycle management
• Administer identity and access management in Okta, including provisioning, MFA enrollment, and access reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT engineering experience in a SaaS or tech company, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Current experience with Okta, Google Workspace, GitHub, AWS IAM, and modern MDM for macOS and Windows
• Fluency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and bash; Python or TypeScript is a plus
• Proven track record of automating processes and reducing ticket backlogs
• Ability to serve as a technical escalation point and actively engage in hands-on problem-solving
