IT Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled IT Operations Manager, this full-time remote position will manage day-to-day IT operations, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure the security and scalability of the technology ecosystem across a national network of calibration labs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the relationship with the Managed Service Provider, setting expectations and managing performance across IT support and security operations
• Manage corporate and lab network design, health, and performance, ensuring uptime and resilience across locations
• Administer cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, leading the consolidation onto AWS as the standard

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration
• Demonstrated experience managing a Managed Service Provider or external vendors against SLAs
• Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace
• Experience with identity management platforms such as JumpCloud or Okta
• Strong networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, and multi-site connectivity
